Who doesn't love free audiobooks??!

As enjoyable as it is to sit down and read a great book, I find myself listening to books more often. Having the ability to exercise while listening can make this format a healthy option for those looking to maximize their free time. Most people who enjoy audiobooks have probably used Audible at some point, if not currently. I did myself for a few years but it can get expensive, especially if you want to consume more than a book or two per month.

Enter Libby

At the beginning of the pandemic, we started visiting the Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) more often. During one visit, a librarian introduced us to Libby, an app that allows borrowing of ebooks and audiobooks from your local library for FREE. A true game changer. One other important item to mention, BPL's Books Banned initiative was created in response to books being removed from library shelves across the US. Currently, anyone across the country ages 13-21 can apply from a free BPL eCard that provides access to the library's full ebook collection and learning database. Spread the word...
