Do you buy most of your vitamins from Amazon??

The star-review system and one-click next-day ship sure does make it easy. Consider these items, though:
-Consumer spending on supplements is at an all-time high.
-The supplement market is completely unregulated.
-Fakery/bs/noise/scams are omnipresent.

Hmmm....

SO, the real question is, how much of what you're buying is actually making it into your cells to benefit your system??

Three considerations I ALWAYS have in mind when dealing with supplements:
1) Do the contents of the items I'm purchasing actually include what's stated on the label?? How can you tell? Buy from a company that works with a legitimate third-party to test for purity and also makes these lab analyses easily accessible for consumer viewing. Fillers are common, so ensure that the product includes what it claims and only that.
2) Am I getting a bioavailable version of a particular molecule?? Not all forms of particular items can be absorbed by the body (see turmeric and glutathione as examples here)
3) Am I taking this particular supplement properly?? Many vitamins are water-soluble but many need to be ingested with fatty acids to be fully activated/absorbed.

Bottom-line, many people are attempting to do the right thing by adding supplements to a healthy diet. Making sure one has the proper approach to this wild west of an industry is crucial. If the answer is NOT yes to all three above questions, then you might just be creating expensive urine!!!
